BRING IT!
WELCOME TO ST. TUDY PRIMARY SCHOOL
Our 'Bring It!' vision requires us to ensure our pupils are excited by and fully engaged in their learning and school experience more widely. We support them to use their talents to create positive school memories with their friends that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
Our aim is to inspire a lifetime of adventure.
As a Church of England School, we support its vision for education which is deeply Christian, with Jesus' promise of 'life in all its fullness' at its heart.
Safeguarding pupils is our first priority. All our employees and volunteers are vetted and trained to ensure our children are kept safe. Adults and pupils are vigilant and know how to report and record any concerns they may have to senior leaders responsible for safeguarding.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to St Tudy CE Primary School.
Our school was built in 1889 and is located in a small village setting next to the lovely village church. We pride ourselves on being a loving, friendly school with committed, experienced staff who provide a safe and happy environment for our children to learn and to develop, academically and socially. Our aim is for our children to become well rounded, confident, happy individuals who are ready and able to face a bright future.
We believe that at St Tudy C of E Primary School we provide a personal, caring, family atmosphere that supports and nurtures its pupils on their individual learning journeys. We give children the support to enable them to work with enthusiasm, question and consider their learning while respecting the ideas, opinions and contributions of others. We encourage open relations, unity and generosity of spirit in order that each member of our school feels valued and has a sense of pride in their achievements.
We know we are successful in our vision as our pupils are;
• happy and confident
• eager to learn
• extending their learning at home
• coming to school and sharing their ideas
• working together with their friends
• achieving high standards
• advocates for our vision extending it to the wider community in Cornwall, England and overseas
If you are; a parent looking for a school for your child, a teacher looking for a class to teach or a school seeking partnerships with others, we would love to hear from you.
