BEING A CHURCH of ENGLAND SCHOOL.

Our Vision- Bring It- Let your Talents Shine

At St Tudy C of E School, through God’s love, we bring friendship, we bring courage, we bring creativity. Bring it forever!

Our 'Bring It!' vision requires us to ensure our pupils are excited by and fully engaged in their learning and school experience more widely. We support them to use their talents to create positive school memories with their friends that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. Our vision and values underpin everything we do as a school community. This links directly to the bible quote:

Matthew 25:14–30.

A master gives three servants different amounts of talents and asks them to use them wisely before he goes off travelling. Some use them well and double their original amount. One buries his only talent, thinking he's keeping it safe and doing the right thing - but the master is angry as he's done nothing with it and passed up the chance of making it grow.

We believe all our children and staff have talents and should all be given the opportunity to shine and have great value and that even the smallest voice is important and worth hearing.

Values

The school has three values Bring friendship, Bring courage, Bring creativity. Each value has  a bible quote and story linked to it. The children and staff decided:

For Friendship- the story of the paralysed man-Mark 2:1-12

Romans 12:10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves

For Courage- David and Goliath- 1 Samuel 17

2 Chronicles 15:7 But you, take courage! Do not let hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.

For Creativity- The creation story- Genesis 1

Exodus 35:35 He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroidered in blue, purple and scarlet yearn and fine linen and weavers- all of them skilled workers and designers.
